I'm all for authentic learning, but this is where I draw the line.

I think calling it a "joke" or a "prank" was a mistake, but I do wonder if it isn't more effective than scheduled drills with advanced warning as a "teaching opportunity"...
How very sick that supposedly intelligent educators should do such a thing to their students. They definitely should be taken to task for this. But then, it was in Tennessee, so we shall see.
